Welcome! This is the home of The Video Lab’s externship project. High school students from different neighborhoods in New York City will work on project teams with graduate student mentors from the Media Studies program at The New School. Mentors will work with students who attended White Noise/Blind Spot, a program they were enrolled in at Eyebeam Art + Technology Center.
Students will work weekly in small teams to complete media projects based on their individual interests in social and environmental issues. The program will culminate with a final public screening of student work, held at The New School on June 21st at Theresa Lang Center.
